I think the show is fantastic. It's the marquee event of the year and you can tell by the turnout. People are flocking to different stands with interest. left and right, with a genuine sense of trying to understand what they stand to gain from collaborating and partnering with a solution or solution provider.

I’ve been to more than 30 trade shows over the last 10 years — across Europe, Asia, and the US — and Smart Manufacturing Week in Birmingham was the best I’ve attended.

As a female who has worked in STEM for over 25 years, I am no stranger to being one of the few women in the room, however this event felt different. I had some great conversations with business and really enjoyed the day. Needless to say, I already have the dates in my calendar for 2026!

Smart Factory Expo, part of Smart Manufacturing Week, exceeded all expectations. We had an incredible two days meeting existing customers and associates, as well as so many new contacts across the UK manufacturing sector. We really enjoyed all the discussions we had and we are looking forward to continuing our engagement.
In my view, industry events are more than just lead-generation opportunities. The energy and synergy before and during the event are the real drivers of success.
