Over this time Tim has gained a wide range of expertise and knowledge across the many areas of automation – Sensors, Vision, Track trace, networking, PLC and diagnostics to name a few. The knowledge gained over the years has also shown that a successful solution often requires the integration of a wide variety of product from multiple vendors.

Now as Team leader of ifm electronics’ UK Projects team, he is keen, alongside his team of experienced engineers, to help customer deliver high impact projects that really contribute to the business regardless of the complexity or diversity of the project.
