Jelena assumed the role of Senior Lecturer in Manufacturing Systems at Cranfield University's Sustainable Manufacturing Systems Centre in September 2022. Her primary area of expertise lies in the development of modeling capabilities and decision-making tools for the design of highly networked and dynamically complex systems. Her work is instrumental in advancing digitization and sustainability in the domains of smart manufacturing and healthcare systems. Throughout her distinguished career, Jelena has made substantial contributions to the field. She has co-authored a monograph, along with an impressive portfolio of twenty-four journal publications and twenty-eight technical publications, all of which have delved into the dynamic management of manufacturing systems, as well as the design and analysis of complex systems. Her professional affiliations underscore her commitment to the field, with memberships in esteemed organizations such as ASME, ASEE, BFWG, MIET, Design Society, and the EPSRC Peer Review College. Jelena's dedication to her work and her extensive contributions make her a valued asset to the academic and professional communities she serves.
