SMC returns to Drives & Controls 2022
SMC returns to Drives & Controls 2022 with new wireless solutions
Wireless connectivity applications designed to reduce build time and maintenance costs will take centre stage on SMC's remodelled stand at this year's Drives & Controls exhibition at the NEC Birmingham.
Scheduled between 5th – 7th April, SMC will welcome visitors in Hall 9, stand E80 to showcase the latest wireless communication systems in their vast product range. One of the main features on the SMC stand will demonstrate four existing products that have been updated to showcase a wireless connectivity dashboard linked to the cloud for real time machine performance analysis.
SMC UK Product Manager Jeremy Wicks added “Integrating the latest SMC wireless solutions is providing real world value to machine builders by reducing build time and simplifying the machine design. An example of a recent project proved a £1.5k saving per cell for a robot integratorâ€'.
In addition, visitors will be able to view and discuss the Continuous Improvement Rig display with SMC experts on the stand. This innovative display helps customers identify and achieve the highest levels of productivity across major manufacturing disciplines including machinery safety, energy efficiency, CO2 management, learning & development.
