HIGHLIGHTS FROM OPENING DAY OF THE UK’S ONLY DEDICATED EVENT FOR THE MAINTENANCE INDUSTRY
Maintec, the UK’s only exhibition dedicated to maintenance, plant and asset management which opened today at the NEC, Birmingham, saw a wealth of new technology and service equipment launched for the first time in the UK - live and exclusively from the show floor.
Key suppliers to the industry including Bosch Rexroth, SSG Insights, SONOTEC Ultraschallsensorik Halle GmbH, T Cards Direct, MCP Consulting and InVMA were just some of the exhibiting companies who used Maintec as a platform to bring their new technologies into the UK marketplace, giving maintenance professionals the opportunity to see and test the tech first-hand.
In addition, visitors got to experience day one of the professional CPD accredited seminar programme and packed-out theatres to hear leading professionals share their case study experiences and technical insight in a free-to-attend conference which has been approved by the Society of Operations Engineers. Sessions from experts such as Building a winning plant maintenance strategy for modern operational needs delivered by Paul Adams, Maintenance Strategy Manager (Global Manufacture & Supply) at GlaxoSmithKline, and the Asset Management Strategies panel discussion drew the attention of the crowds.
The show returns tomorrow for its final day tomorrow from 10am and kicks off with an opening keynote session from Bhavina Bharkada, Education and Skills Policy Advisor, EEF. Visitor attendance is free.
