As part of Mirka’s continued commitment to help the industries it targets grow and develop, it has invested significantly in training programmes, which are available both on site and at its state-of-the-art national training centre in Milton Keynes. This investment enables Mirka to provide its customers with expert training and development around the high-quality abrasive, tooling and polishing solutions available in its product portfolio, so they can increase their knowledge and skills, improve their work flow and expand the services they can offer their customer base.   

In addition, Mirka knows there is a concerted move towards automated manufacturing processes, so to meet this demand the R&D team developed a range of robotic sanding solutions. The range includes the Mirka® AIOS sanding heads, the Mirka® AIROP polishing head and the Mirka® AIROS, the first smart electric sander designed for robotic sanding applications.
