The British Institute of Non-Destructive Testing (BINDT) is the professional institute for all those engaged in non-destructive testing (NDT), condition monitoring (CM) and structural health monitoring (SHM). It is concerned with the education and training of all those employed in the industry, and the advancement of the science and practice of NDT, CM, SHM, diagnostic engineering and all other materials and quality testing disciplines.

NDT, CM and SHM play a vital role in ensuring the safety and reliability of plant and assets. BINDT will be on hand to provide expert advice on training and certification in the various methods of NDT, CM and SHM, through the globally-recognised and highly-regarded PCN Scheme. Staff will also highlight the important benefits that membership of BINDT brings to its company and individual members, including opportunities for registration as a professional engineer with the Engineering Council (CEng, IEng, EngTech), and questions on all other NDT-, CM- and SHM-related issues will be answered.
